Buffy season 2 reactions (spoilers)

a vast improvement over season one.
although, basing the whole season on the premise that evil is much, much sexier than good was a bit of a risk...well, maybe it wasn't. but only because Whedon seems to do a really angsty good by default. i swear good can be sexy, even more so than run of the mill evil. it just usually isn't written that way. more's the pity.
giles and xander both learn to kick ass, making them both better all around. (and sexier)
seth green! oh how i love him.
still no floppy hair.

I totally do not remember Xander learning to kick ass this early. Giles learned to kick ass a long time ago, we just didn't get to see it in Season 1.

I think a strong argument could be made that Oz is both good and sexy.

Xander gets turned into a soldier in a Halloween episode, after which he is much less sissy. He's still something of a wuss, but much better than the incompetent threat to our safety he was before.

And yeah, Oz is both. Good eye.

Ah, yes, the Halloween episode. That's before I started watching the show originally, so I forget that it actually meant anything (even though it's clearly THE pivotal episode of the season, for all story arcs not involving Angel).
